As part of efforts to build additional Internet Governance capacity within Nigeria, The Internet Society Nigeria Chapter (www.isoc.ng ) is convening with other Industry Partners the Nigerian School on Internet Governance. Schools on Internet Governance have helped many notable countries groom citizens that have risen to take up key positions and influence the global Internet ecosystem.

The intensive program will cover core Internet governance issues. The program integrates political, legal, economic, socio-cultural, and technological dimensions of Internet governance into a coherent curriculum, focusing on Nigeria, Africa, and the Global Internet space.

To be considered for the full/partial fellowship, Applicants must fulfill the following conditions:

1. Must be resident in Nigeria
2. Must fill out the application form in its entirety. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

3. FEMALE CANDIDATES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY

Scheduled to take place in Abuja, Nigeria, the school will precede the Nigerian Internet Governance Forum (NIGF) to give participants the practical experience of participation at a national Internet Governance Forum.
